Create multiple fun and challenging drills  with several KUBEs and utilize their modular format.  Be creative.  

SOLO TRAINING

KUBE is perfect for solo training, as it acts as another player to practice give and go’s, target shooting, passing accuracy, and so much more.   Also, Whether used as a resting spot during or after training, or as a sideline seat or bench (combine multiple modular KUBE's), it's makes for a great resting spot to take in a session or game.  Get back at it by using your seat as the training tool once you've taken a breath.  Perfect!

SOCCERBOX TRAINING DRILL EXAMPLES

 

1. Target Training Drills

Focus: Accuracy, passing, and shooting precision.

a. Hole-on-Top Passing Challenge

  • Setup: Place KUBE upright with the hole on top.
  • Drill: Players stand 5–10 yards away and attempt to chip the ball into the hole using inside-foot or lofted passes.
  • Progression: Increase distance or require weaker foot use.

b. Hole-on-Side Shooting Drill

  • Setup: Lay KUBE on its side inside a large goal.
  • Drill: Players shoot from 12–18 yards aiming for the hole. Award points for accuracy.
  • Variation: Add multiple KUBEs in different goal zones for target zones.


2. Rebounder Control Drills

Focus: First touch, control, and quick passing.

a. One-Touch Wall Pass

  • Setup: Place KUBE on its side as a rebounder.
  • Drill: Player passes firmly into KUBE and controls the rebound with one touch before passing again.
  • Progression: Add movement—receive, turn, and pass to a teammate.

b. Juggle & Rebound

  • Setup: Same as above.
  • Drill: Player juggles twice, then volleys into KUBE, controls rebound, and repeats.
  • Goal: Improve coordination and touch under pressure.


3. Shooting Accuracy Games

Focus: Competitive fun and precision.

a. KUBE Target Goal

  • Setup: Place 3–4 KUBEs inside a full-size goal as targets.
  • Drill: Players shoot from outside the box aiming to hit or score through the holes.
  • Scoring: 3 points for hitting the hole, 1 point for hitting the box.

b. Timed Accuracy Challenge

  • Setup: Same as above.
  • Drill: Players have 60 seconds to hit as many targets as possible.


4. Plyometric & Fitness Drills

Focus: Strength, agility, and explosiveness.

a. Box Jumps

  • Setup: Use KUBE as a plyometric box.
  • Drill: Perform vertical jumps onto the KUBE, land softly, step down.
  • Progression: Add lateral jumps or single-leg hops.

b. Burpee-to-Target

  • Setup: KUBE upright.
  • Drill: Player does a burpee, then chips the ball into the hole immediately after standing.


5. Combination Skill Circuits

Focus: Multi-skill integration.

a. Pass–Jump–Shoot Circuit

  • Setup: KUBE upright near penalty area.
  • Drill: Player passes into KUBE (hole on top), sprints to KUBE, performs a box jump, then receives a ball and shoots at goal.

b. Control–Agility–Target

  • Setup: KUBE as rebounder + cones for agility.
  • Drill: Player passes into KUBE, controls rebound, dribbles through cones, then chips into KUBE hole.
